Project ABLE - offering a better life experience

The goal of Project ABLE is to promote consumer-led programs that empower consumers to lead healthy lives as active members of their communities. Empowered consumers recognize their strengths and exercise their ability to make choices that shape their lives. The vision of Project ABLE is to provide the organizational structure through which consumers can create, direct and deliver peer-to-peer services.

Peer supports, people who have walked that same path, those, who are navigating their own wellness and recovery are a natural extension of community support. And ultimately, those peer supports bring one of the greatest intangibles in healing…hope. Hope that every person can have and deserves a better life. The Project ABLE acronym, by the way, is, "A Better Life Experience."
